Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Locum GP to provide routine consultations and ongoing patient care. This role is ideal for GPs who want a consistent workload without the burden of full-time salaried commitments.
Key Duties:

  • Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations (10-minute slots).
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Issue repeat prescriptions and manage test results.
  • Participate in preventative care (smears, vaccinations, NHS health checks).
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS/SystmOne.
  • Support the practice team in quality improvement and audits.
    Requirements:
  • GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • On the NHS GP Performers List.
  • MRCGP qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
